Hometown Health is pleased to offer Medicare supplement insurance to Nevadans with Original Medicare coverage. Sometimes called “Medigap,” Medicare supplement insurance is offered by private insurance companies like Hometown Health to fill “gaps” in the Original Medicare Plan coverage. Medicare supplement insurance policies only work with the Original Medicare Plan. A Medicare Advantage plan, like Hometown Health’s Senior Care Plus, is not a Medicare Supplement policy, nor can it be combined with a Medicare Supplement policy.
Enrollment in Hometown Health’s Medicare supplement plans depends on eligibility. The guaranteed issue open enrollment period lasts for 6 months and begins on the first day of the month in which the enrollee is both 65 years old and enrolled in Medicare Part B. However, if not in a guaranteed enrollment situation, you can still apply. Scroll down to compare plans.
